Well it has been about a year since I have written on here! Wow it is amazing how time goes by! So much has happened, Ty is on his mission, Amy has left for hers, I am back in school full swing and looking for a good job! Nothing has changed in the romance department (shocker I know) I am still single and enjoying that! I recently was placed called as the Co-Chair for the Linger Longer Committee.... nothing like feeding the ward once a month.
Last week we had an interesting experience feeding the ward. I decided to do a breakfast for everyone, French Toast, Bacon, Fruit.... With all my time watching the Food Network I learned that baking bacon instead of frying it in a pan is better for you and tastes better. I decided that was the way I would go! I put the bacon in the oven and we started the rest of the meal. As time passed grease dripped in the oven and smoke was everywhere! The fire alarm went off, the institute was evacuated, and the fire department showed up. It was an exciting day that is for sure!

When we got to Vegas the first night as we were waiting for everyone else to show up Cindy, Teresa and I all went on a walk. We went to the Belagio and were there watching the fountains when someone decided to climb the tree and DIVE into the water cracking his head open. It made for an exciting for night with the police, ambulance, and rush of people around. We wish him the best and hope that things work out for him.
We were on the 6 hour drive to Vegas, we had gummy frogs in the car and realized they were gooey enough to stick.... Ha Ha Ha we are nerds we know!!!

Ha.. ha... I love it! The great LDS Smoke-Out of 2009. Now be honest - was it really the bacon? Or was it because you are so SMOKIN' hot?
HAHA!! I went to the Stake FHE last night and a girl came up to me and asked me what ward I was in, when I told her the 13th ward she goes "oh... you're in the popular ward". I asked her what she meant by that and she said "weren't you the ones that evacuated all of us in the middle of our meetings?" I just laughed and said "hey, whats a linger longer if you can't make it a memorable one".
Way to go Suzer on making it a memorable one. The best part was that you kept on cooking in the kitchen while the rest of the building was being evacuated. haha!
Oh my word... a miracle has occured. You updated your blog! Ha ha just kidding. The great Institute smoke-out of 2009 was awesome. So what are we gonna do next month to beat this? Ha ha
